Powder coating preservation method and precautions

1. Keep away from fire sources, avoid direct sunlight, well-ventilated places and the temperature is below 35 ℃ to prevent caking and high temperature curing.

2. Avoid contact with water, solvent, grease and other materials polluted places when powder is stored.

3. After the powder is not used up, the powder bag should be sealed and stored in time to avoid long-term exposure to air and moisture deterioration.

4. Fireworks are strictly prohibited in the closed powder spraying room to prevent the danger caused by excessive dust concentration.

5. The operator should wear a special dust mask when spraying powder to prevent dust from being inhaled into the human body.

6. The general storage time of powder coatings is one year. Due to the different storage times of different varieties, for example, outdoor high-gloss powder can be stored for two years, while indoor matt powder may have poor leveling and increased gloss for about half a year. Indoor wrinkle powder may become less textured after a year. Customers are advised to use powders that are about to expire as soon as possible.
